To the Hillview team,
I just wanted to take a moment to say I couldn’t be happier with the place my father Ellis now calls home. Recently I have seen staff patiently address his Wi-Fi dilemma that was causing him much angst, resulting in Trevor to coming to the rescue, listen and respond attentively to his needs, and after a tumble fall yesterday and damage to his poor unsuspecting body whilst out with me, he returned back from a day in hospital to the loveliest warm reception of friendly faces and genuine caring from ALL staff like he was a long lost relative returning from the battlefield (and he looked like it). He feels loved and secure and this is the best feeling ever for me so THANK YOU. All of you.
I would also like to say a special word of thanks to a sweet little caterer/carer called Sophie, this sweet girl not only goes about her business in a bubbly happy manner treating all her customers with such care but she is always enthusiastic, helpful and wherever possible goes that extra mile. Last night on Dad’s return Sophie greeted him with a hug and welcome back, she reassured him before flying off to return with a warm meal and a bowl of ice cream (he loves his ice cream). Such empathy from someone so young in the aged care service. Staff like this make that point of difference. In this world where we usually only hear when there is a complaint, I am one for acknowledging great service, care and attention and this is what is being given. I feel so lucky.
