HILLVIEW CARE COVID-19 PREVENTION
HillView Care has introduced strict hygiene and social distancing measures to comply with health directives from the Queensland and Australian Governments. We are closely monitoring the latest health advice and are adjusting our services accordingly to keep our residents, volunteers, visitors and staff safe from COVID-19.

HillView Care continues to comply with all Queensland Government directives decided by local, state and national Governments. Upon receiving official notification, we endeavour to keep you informed as soon as possible. Please note that these directives can sometimes change within a very short space of time, meaning our updates can be out of date within a matter of hours. - Easing of restrictions to Residential Aged Care facilities from 6:00am Friday 23rd July 2021
- NSW declared COVID-19 hotspot
- Face masks remain mandatory
From 6:00am Friday 23rd July 2021 residential aged care facilities within south-east Queensland will no longer be declared as restricted – general visitation will resume as follows:
- Monday to Friday 9:00am – 3:00pm
- Saturday to Sunday 9:30am – 3:00pm
Anyone who is a close contact, or has been in a declared hotspot or interstate exposure venue of concern must not visit any residential aged care facility.
Strict screening criteria on entry will still apply and visitors are still required to wear masks when visiting HillView Care facilities (Please bring your own masks).
All of New South Wales will be declared a COVID-19 hotspot from Friday 23rd July 2021 –
- Anyone who has been in a hotspot in the last 14 days or since the start date are not permitted to enter a residential aged care facility.
A NSW border zone will also come into effect from Friday 23rd July 2021 –
Face mask restrictions continue to apply for South-East Queensland. Visitors are required to wear face masks when entering HillView Care facilities.
